Just seen the alert for MCE. been a member ages and not once ever seen a job. Do other people get a lot of work from these?

I haven't seen one for months, but just grabbed on thanks to the alert.
  • Why do you claim on the new Alerts thread that it was your idea??

    It wasn't, it was Timmne's! :mad::mad::mad:

Yeah, I'm really angry! *

I wonder if the original thread is gone because a moderator has pushed the wrong button. I went straight to the alert and it was spam, so I reported it. I assume rather than delete the post that someone has binned the thread.

    *I'm not.

It wasn't, it was Timmne's!:mad::mad: He set it up om 5th March 2008 which was long before you started MS-ing.

Chill out !!!!!!! I copied and pasted an older one to speed up the creation of anew one, I must've missed that bit when I went back to edit it.

    Jeez, some people! :naughty:

Back here for the first time in a few months, and I see that nothing has changed.

Major family changes here. Hubby left us. Left his job. We had to sell the house. Now living on benefits with 6 kids. I drew myself up a fancy new spreadsheet this week to make sure that my "earnings" (read profit) stay under £20/week so that I don't lose benefits. Pleased that my first week back at MS last week, I "earned" £4.71, as most of the benefits to me counted as expenses.

Picked up a hair cut on MCE, which is usually worth £50ish with no fee.

These are the types of things that I need MS for now - the luxuries that I can't afford, rather than cash in my pocket.

Just had an irritating conversation with ESA, at least partly my fault as I can't find a receipt from a job last week. But they did handle it badly and I got a bit annoyed then felt awful afterwards as I really need the work from them ATM.

Pleased to say they've assigned me lots of travel agents since then, so relieved that I don't seem to have too big a black mark.

I was already annoyed with myself about the lost receipt, but really didn't feel that I could revisit the store and do the same returns scenario within 3 days, which is what they were demanding I do.

And I was having a day off from MSing today, fat chance with 3 phone calls from different companies before 9.30.

If x many people press the spam button I think it just automatically deletes it instead of moving it and getting a moderator to review it. (After all, there aren't actually any moderators, just board guides!)

It's a user led moderation process, but only really works if spam is in a thread on it's own.

Agh, I'm trying to do the test for a GFK bank job, and it's telling me that one or more of my answers is incorrect. I have read the notes a hundred times. Any idea what it could be?
