aol flexi broadband

i joined aol flexi broadband in october as i am in a student flat where we only need internet for 10 months. the idea of 'flexi' is that i let them know 30 days before i want to leave and thus only pay up to that month.
i am now being contacted to say this no longer exists and i must sign up to an 18 month contract.
it states online that the offer ends on march 28th but not that as an existing customer you can no longer have the flexi package.

i obviously dont want to get an 18 month contract as i only need the internet until june

any advice would be much appreciated! :)

Not sure what AOL are on about to be honest.

But if they are forcing you onto a contract, then you'll have to cancel AOL and switch to another 'no contract' broadband provider. Just phone AOL up and ask for your MAC code, then you give this to the new provider you sign up to.

Currently, the best broadband provider with a short 3-month contract is BE. Also, Plusnet do 1 month contracts if you pay for set up (£30) in advance and provide your own router (they cost from around £15 if you don't have one).
