The HRG search implies that G.U.S. own HRG but management is devolved.

The G.U.S. search says that the G.U.S. catalogue business was sold to Littlewoods (Home Shopping Group) but that HRG is now demerged & is a seperate business which comprises :- Argos/Homebase/ARG Financial Services & Experian.

The info is conflicting but the Wikipedia is known to contain errors.

These are 2 different companies and as far as we are aware Barclay Bro's only own Shop Direct not Home Retail group
