See now its not lunchie time I have a question on that website...

I think that women and men should be treated as equals, equal pay, equal opportunities etc obviously men and women are not the same, but I do not want to be treated differently merely on the basis that I am a women.

So why then do women need a womens only running website/mag? Isnt that just hypocritical to say well we want to be treated unequally in this but not in other stuff...

I dont 'get' the point of it as a concept and in fact I find it a bit condescending (especially because the website is all pink looking and girly),

Thats even leaving aside all my other less charitable thoughts about marketing gimics to cash in on women's desires to lose weight...dolling out faux 'advice' which is actually incorrect, and which seems to be backed up by the fact that a load of the staff of the magazine are newbie runners by their own admissions. I realise it isnt actually aimed at me so maybe I am missing the point here...

It could be called zombies running for all I care....I pick a mag up and read it....take from it what I want and discard the rest. I like the mag cos it isn't too technical and tbh cos I love looking at pink fashions and fashionable running gear (not that I would ever buy any of it - but I can dream). I just don't think we need to be serious all the time about everything. I find runners world a bit boring tbh....

I am not even for equal opportunities, men and women are different....end of...
