3 mobile broadband CS

This is just a rant really - I am now into my second eighteen month contract with 3 broadband -When I renewed my contract with them back in Dec 2009, I was promised a new dongle - great as my old one was about broken (it did break and my mate got me a new one).
Said dongle never arrived, this was over Xmas/New year. After various phone calls lack of dongle Was blamed on been out of stock/bad weather, etc, and I never received "the new fast and improved dongle" the E170/E179 I believe.
Now in to February I phoned CS tonight to ask for the new dongle, to be shouted at and to be told the one I was promised was out of stock! I was promised one that I *know* will not work on Apple Mac - drivers not compatible.. been there done that. so said no. Was then told to buy one out of store and they'd reimburse me! After not getting the dongle I was promised back in Dec 09 I didn't really believe that.
I am absolutely appalled at 3's customer services:mad:

If you email Executive.Office@three.co.uk and a guy called Simon Irving, explain your problem and he will sort it out for you.
You will probably end up with a credit against your account and ask for one of those new mifi dongle things.0 -

I am absolutely appalled at 3's customer services. I wish to cancel my contract on the basis that I did not get the goods I was promised (the E170 dongle) when I renewed my contract.

I really would like to cancel my contract with 3 and just go PAYG until I move house and can get "proper" broadband. Do I have a case for doing that as they didn't provide the dongle they promised as part of me renewing my contract? I don't wanna cancel my DD and find I don't have a leg to stand on.

Just had this off CE.. ohh feel scared when they use words like "findings" feel I'm lying and got it all wrong when I haven't. 3 are gonna say something different to what I have obviously"Dear Miss *******,
