Hey ho
Our dell on haas a CDR burner and would like to change it to a DVD burner, and it seems that the internal ones are cheaper than external (unless someone can find me a cheap one)
I have found this one and wondered if:
1) it will fit in my dell demesnsion 3100?
2) Is it had to fit or will I be giving dad a ring?
3) is it any good?
Any advice would be fantastico :j
Thank you

Get a USB external one as you say slightly dearer but just plugin and off you go.0

The one you have linked to is not a DVD burner
Its very easy to replace the cd burner on a Dell, just open the case and take it out the cd burner carefully and replace with the new one to the same wires0 -

)

an internal is easier, and cheaper... a couple of screws, and it's in. If you don't have Nero, Easy CD etc, make sure you get one with the software, not just a bare drive. Don't get a Linksys !:rotfl:Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
