Bt Wipeboard Phone
I suspect this should be in the 'anything else' section, but I never seem to get an answer down there if it's phone related so I thought I'd try up here.
Anyone got one of these?

I got one yesterday but it seems to keep beeping.
Anyone had any experience?
It has hardly anything in the way of instructions but it does say that it is intended for connection to analogue public switched telephone networks.
I've just got broadband, would that have any bearing?
Thanks if anyone can shed light.

Apart from the irritating beeping how do you find it?
Baked any cakes whilst talking? Reception OK?0 -
Baked any cakes? ::)
;D
No baking done, but it's clearer than I expected it to be.
I would be very happy if it wasn't for the beeping. I think it has a fault though as it's fine with outgoing calls but it seems to cut off after 2 rings when someone phones in.
Need to take it back I think. I can't find anything online about troubleshooting. :-/
I was just a bit worried the store would say it was a problem with my line or connection or something rather than a fault with the item itself.Herman - MP for all!

trust you got it plugged in to a filter?0
-
Yes, the filter comes from the main socket and the wipeboard goes into the filter.
I tried unplugging the filter just to see if it made any diffference but it doesn't. :-/Herman - MP for all!

Taken from the BT website...... sorry, me being a bit obscure.Hands covered in flour and the phone rings? With the NEW, Limited Edition BT Wipeboard phone, you can answer the call handsfree and forget about the mess... and jot down those all important reminders while you talk.0 -
Ah, I understand now, lol.
I thought you were doing the old sexist female in the kitchen bit.
