If you are prepared to travel then bradgate brides in anstey in leicestershire nr J21A off M1 are fab.

We got married 3 and half yrs ago when they were a tiny shop the size of a living room in a little village!! My dress should have been £950 and the sample one was a size too big only tried on once been steamed clean and she said could have for £450 as she needed space to buy some new dresses if I took away that week (it was jan and I was getting married oct), so said would think about it as was going to some other shops, well didnt find anything else I liked or any samples in such excellent quality, in the meantime they rang me and said we know you are on a tight budget how about if we do it for £300 and we give you our dressmakers details so you can go direct for alterations saving you money also - well we were back in a flash!! alterations cost me just under £50 direct also!!

Anyway they have a new larger shop which includes a dress agency so has some second hand dresses but also they sell their sample dresses in the agency section and prices start at £150!!!!!
