o2 k500i,,is it simlocked
I have seen the SE k500i on o2 reduced in price at an online retailer and am considering getting one for my daughter.I'm not botherede if it is network locked as she would be putting her o2 genie sim in it.Is it however, likely to be sim locked to the simcard it comes with if indeed it has one included. The phone details do not state simfree but even though it is on o2,neither does it mention simcard or tariff,I'm just assuming it will include a sim.Any ideas please..

Is it on PAYG?
Is it second hand?

1.. it's payg
2..brand new
3..Post retailer when I know my order for ONE, has been accepted. I don't want to have to purchase it off ebay for £40 more because certain posters on here have cleared out stock purely for profit
Probably won't make me too popular but I've missed out before and read later posts from folk saying,"ordered 10,20, gonna make a killing "etc0 -
It will come complete with a SIM card.
It won't be locked to that SIM (i.e. you will be able to put other o2 sims in it), but it may need unlocking if you want to put in another SIM from another network (e.g. Orange).
You can easily get these phones unlocked (by a specialist) - they require a cable connection to a PC and the use of an unlocking server.0 -
I bought a k500i PAYG from an O2 shop. Put my O2 simcard in no problems. If she has been with O2 for long she should get a loyalty reward. instructions with the phone or ring O2.
i got £15 (been with O2 for 4 months)
G/friend got £35 for being with them for over a yr.
Rewards are free credit.Err, I'll get back to you about the funny signature0
