I know its not weeks (time for delivery) but the same principle appliesebay wrote:Examples that aren't Feedback Extortion
A buyer pays for an item and waits several weeks for it to arrive. The buyer then emails the seller, “The item is already late. If it is not here by tomorrow, I will leave you negative Feedback.”

Hi thanks for your post the buyer is now on my blocked bidders list to do this follow the link http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin.
Ebay do not have to remove feedback for extortion and as the buyer is only asking you to send the item and has paid they may not even class this as extortion for full rules on extortion click the link and open the Additional Information drop down http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/feedback-extortion.html.
It clearly ststes the following " Feedback extortion is not a reason for feedback removal under eBay’s Feedback Withdrawal and Removal Policy. It is possible to threaten negative feedback, but still leave a valid comment.".0 -

Actually I disagree, the buyer is being completley unreasonable and threatening -ve feedback after only a day or so.0 -
It is unreasonable and threataning there is no doubt about that but bob is right it is not extortion under ebays guidelines and even if it was extortion this does make feedback get removed on its own anymore.slummymummyof3 wrote: »Actually I disagree, the buyer is being completley unreasonable and threatening -ve feedback after only a day or so.
Ebay may remove feedback under the grounds of extortion but it is up to the advisor dealing with the case if this happens or not, so if this happens to you and you phone or email ebay be nice do not demand they remove the feedback as they do not have to remove the feedback at all if they don't want to.;)
See my previous post with links that show that this is now the case.0 -
Ebay is carp nowadays. Think it is ridiculous that you cannot leave -ve feedback for non-paying bidders etc0

As a seller I like what has happened with NPBs as now I can open a NPB after only 4 days and close it after 8.slummymummyof3 wrote: »Ebay is carp nowadays. Think it is ridiculous that you cannot leave -ve feedback for non-paying bidders etc
Also if a buyer does not pay within this time they get a strike and can no longer leave me feedback at all, gone is the option for them to respond with a message, they either pay or get a strike and the sale is closed down I get my FVF back and they cannot leave feedback at all.
A buyer now has to pay to be able to leave a seller feedback this is a good change.
And before you ask what does a strike mean, well no buyer can bid on any of my auctions if they have recived 2 or more strikes in the last 12 months.
You just select this from your buyer preferances when listing an item and laugh at the buyers who then send begging messages asking you to let them bid.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
When I last checked my seller preference logs I have around 20 refused bids on my business account, virtually all of them showing they have 'too many upaid strikes' (my limit is set at 2).I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
