Ridiculous Talk Talk

I am infuriated with Talk Talk. Since they took over Tiscali they have ruined what used to be a very good relationship.
My broadband only package was £15 a month. Cheaper than anywhere else I could find from my exchange for an unlimited service.
In all my time with them Tiscali knew I never sue their provided email address and so if they decided to contact me by email they used my permanent email address. Not TALK TALK though no.
NOt only that but TT seem to think that sending an email to an unused email a/c is an acceptable means of telling me the price is going up by £5 for NO REASON other than Talk Talk want more money. Surely something so significant as a THIRTY THREE PERCENT increase in my billing should be sent in a written letter!! NOT a damn email.
I phone the company and speak to some very disillusioned Tiscali takeover staff who say the whole thing is affecting them too as they are dealing with nothing but angry people now.
I would rather have no broadband than a: pay £20 a month for it and b: stay with this amateur bunch of &^%$^**&^% GRRRRRR

Maybe somebody from Talktalk / tiscali would like to enlighten the many angry peole on this forum as to what is going on, that is even if they know:eek:. Still do not understand why some people are getting their broadband charges increased and others are not. Unless it is down to whether you are on an LLU exchange?sanfly0

I don't think the exchange is LLU here but I do know they have their own kit in the exchange because I had many early problems and they upgraded the kit and also swapped me from IP Stream to data stream. LLU was not the case then and I don't think that has changed.
The guy I spoke to said it's affecting all the Tiscali staff because TT have come in and changed absolutely everything without any real reason. I asked would it be fair to say morale was low, he just sighed/laughed. Says it all really.
The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Is Mary turner still CEO or is it a TT honcho now?0 -
50% increase for me. Unfortunately in Market 1 BT wholesale area, so I'm pretty much stuck with TT0
