Well I guess maybe if they've paid for their seat they feel they have the right. I always worry about the person behind me but I HAVE to put my seat back as I have had multiple disc issues and sitting up straight for too long is painful for me. I think if the person behind me as no room for their toddler maybe they should have bought them their own seat?
It's a bit dangerous having a 1 year old who has just learned to sit unaided in their own seat. She would have toppled over easily and probably fell on the floor.
I think if there was a medical reason that was made known, the stewardess would have either moved them or us. However, they only reason they gave was they didn't want to sit near a baby, so I guess they were being as awkward as possible. No idea why they didn't want to sit next to her, as she was quiet and well behaved.Here I go again on my own....0
