Monarch Airways Urgent Advice

I'm travelling on Monarch Airways (scheduled) tomorrow to Lanzarote. Can anyone please advise of the type of headphone socket they use for their inflight entertainment? I assume that Monarch charge for headphones? If so I prefer to take my own headphones rather than pay for another set to go with the many already accumulated over the years.
All advice gratefull received. Thanks.

im not sure if all the aircraft have inflight entertainment onboardI am a Travel Agent
My company’s ABTA numbers are P6046. MSE doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.0 -
I think if they have any entertainment, it will be the small plug in but you may only get sound from one earphone rather than both0

Last I flew Monarch was to Taba and the aircraft was A Boeing 757, very cramped seating, the earphone socket was the 2 pin type. Your aircraft will probably an Airbus 300 series and should have a 2 pin socket0

I flew to Lanzarote the year before last and can confirm the earphone socket was the two pin type. Can also confirmed it was a cramped flight too!0

We flew to Turkey with them last year and the year before. You had to pay for headphones but they collected them in again at the end of the flight!
It was cramped too. The first year my daughter was a toddler on our knees, and the couple in front insisted on fully reclining their seats, so we couldn't have her on either of ours knees. They caused a huge fuss because the stewardess said they had to sit uprightIt was a morning flight so not as if it was time to sleep.
Here I go again on my own....0 -

Ignorant oiks, why do people do this? It happened to me once, I had the tray down as I had bought coffee and eating my home made sarnies (very mse) and the chap in front was mumbling and his wife said in a loud voice summat like'put it back if you want to' as soon as it went back I shouted to him that he'd tipped my coffee over me!
He soon put his seat back up and both sat in silence, if that coffee had been really hot I think I'd have ended up with blisters , and he'd have had a smack in the mush :rotfl:Be happy, it's the greatest wealth0 -
We flew with them last year, and I can't remember how many pins there were- but my bog standard headphones worked fine- different planes there & back. Possibly only one side though- a blessing as they were showing rom-coms, my idea of hell.Only dead fish go with the flow...0

Reguar headphones will work in a 2 pin socket but you'll only get sound in one ear. Take 2 sets and use alternate earpones lol
Never understood the airline sockets, totally pointless!0 -
Well I guess maybe if they've paid for their seat they feel they have the right. I always worry about the person behind me but I HAVE to put my seat back as I have had multiple disc issues and sitting up straight for too long is painful for me. I think if the person behind me as no room for their toddler maybe they should have bought them their own seat?
Not quite sure if its legal for an infant to sit in their own seat, but dont think it would be very safe or practical for a small baby to be fastened into their own seat.0
