Hi all

I'm also applying through NIS via a broker and have been told today that the surveyor should be going in today and that the bank are happy provided the valuation is OK. I was getting a little concerned as there have been lots of requests for information (bank statements, additional ID etc) - all of which I supplied, no problem. Fingers crossed for an offer by the end of the week! It has taken from 8 Feb to today to get to this stage for those interested in the timeline. It does seem to be right that the mortgage is underwritten first before surveys are instructed (even though the survey fee was taken upfront) as this is what I was told was the reason for the delay.
