    It was :) :T
  • Going back a few pages, I have a Keep Calm and Carry On poster framed in my hall. It looks great. I first saw it via Pedlars where it cost something daft like £200. I bought the poster for about £3.50 from Barter Books in Northumberland (Google them) - in fact at that price I bought 20 and sold them on, as the KC&CO phenomenon was just taking off - had it framed locally for about £30 (though a friend just put one in an Ikea fame and it looked good too) and voila. Take that Pedlars people, with your lovely Scottish lifestyle, all your cool stuff, and your outrageous prices! Hah.

Hope all well with you 40SM - and the diet is going well.....I am not dieting as such but trying to be careful....

Afternoon 40SM, I hope you've had a good day. It might be worth logging a quick complaint through HSBC's system. It usually generates £30.00.

Love your entrepreneurial flair mrs r.

Here's a throwback to wealthier times. Here I am trying to make £20.00 housekeeping last me until the end of the month and i've just got an invitation to a champagne ceremony at our local Harvey Nichols. Free booze and canapes, make up consultation and a deluxe lipstick of my choice absolutely free with other samples on the house. Their marketing people should be shot, I should have been crossed of any lists ages ago.

I'll be going of course :rotfl:, with my doggy bag.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

You could come if you were a little less busty lol :rotfl:. That made me giggle.

Hope you've managed to get rid of some of that stress and are not as busy.

I did get rid of the stress with the help of some wine;) The busyness will carry on for some weeks yet:( BUT it does meaning I can earn quite a lot if I a put in the hours.

Diet is not really happening this week due to the stress . I have been buying things like chocolate and crisps, which I never buy ordinarily!

Hope you are ok. I am thinking of you.

    Love
