    Yipppee to overestimated bills!

Glad you're getting a treat - you deserve one - nice to hear your boss saying he appreciates you!

I'm a bit up and down - beginning to stress about work but will get it all sorted - I just need to keep perspective and do what I can when I can.

This juggling stuff - kids/work/family/etc - its sometimes a bit bonkers isnt it? Oh's been up so its been a bit strange (but nice) at home -another adult around is often harder work (sorry!) than you expect.

My mantra is always - 'it will all be fine' - repeat until you believe it!! (I chant it all day everyday)

I always struggle to keep up with diaries often I read and can't post - x
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

    Hi Fay,

Sorry to hear you are stressed about work:( As you say " You will be fine":)

I know exactly what you mean about it being harder with an extra adult about:) As you know getting DS1 to school can be a nightmare and very stressful for me . I look forward to DHs day off so I can get extra help....but they end up far more stressful!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you have a lovely weekend. The weather has gone from warm & sunny back to raining & freezing here:(

    love

    Afternoon 40SM.

Enjoy your Desperate Housewives box set, I love that programme, and well done on your electricity bill saving. The simple pleasures in life.

I have just been to the library, to enrol DS and I. I was feeling very MSE and smug, until she found me on the system with an outstanding fine of £17.50 and DS with an unrecoverable book under his name, which she'd like me to pay for. Both dated from 2002. I pleaded poverty and the fact that surely the debt was now statute barred, but the dragon wasn't having it, and I got a lecture on responsible borrowing :o .

Needless to say she never got her £17.50+ and we never got any books....

Keep up the good work, glad DS meeting went well x

    Hi Scrooge;)

Your episode at the library made me chuckle. Glad you didn't pay the £17.50.... you could buy a Desperate Housewives boxset for that:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

58.gif - Naughty, naughty do not lead me into Desperate Housewives boxset temptation. I need no encouragement this month.

I was thinking of this thread when I paid out ANOTHER £6.00 to the school on Friday, so that they can take DS to see the Imaginative theatre, put on a production called "Life in Ponds." I ask you!!! Whatever happened to Shakespeare.

40sm, first hugs. What a week for you.

On the One Show this week they had a piece abouut the 'Keep Calm And Carry On' posters and propaganda of the war, I'm so tempted to buy a small artifact (but at £8 a tea towel maybe not !) to remind me that that's what it's all about. Positive thinking of the wartime years.

Hoping you have a calm, chilled Sunday ahead ?
