I am very very tired this morning. I went to bed early enough but then woke up around 2am and didn't really get back to sleep properly. The alarm went off for DH at 5am and was snoozed every 5 mins or so until 5.20 when he finally got up:mad:

I think because I am so so busy at work , with lots of deadlines to meet I just have it going round in my head and I can't switch off and sleep properly.

I really could do with a day off... completely on my own ( ie when kids are at school) so that I can have some headspace as I honestly don't get aminute to myself. Unfortunately that is not doable at the moment , workloadwise or financially so I'll just have to soldier on:(

    Sorry for the rant.

    Have a good day all.

    40SM:)

Thanks Taxi, I am ok at the minute :) just need to stay here until 6.30pm. :(
How are you doing ?? I am sorry but I have not had time to catch up on your diary lately:o
  • Ok jsut a quick thought

    Dog stuff - quidco

If you get stuff regularily then Zooplus or whatever its called? Or some pet type store does all the worming/tick/etc stuff

Mind you - remember I am hyper-allergic to vets and will do nothing to promote thier financial fortune - so I'm always looking for alternatives for pet stuff/meds etc

    :)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:

    Hi Fay,

Thanks for that. I must admit that I am tempted to go to the pet shop for flea & worming stuff but am a bit worried as the vet put the frightners on me , by saying that if I buy the wrong dosage I could kill the pup:eek:
  • As far as I'm aware they work via 'weight' of pup..................I think they're on commission those vet folks. Sounds like well meaning but informed 'sales' patter to me.

But I know what you mean - you'd need to be sure. xx

ETA I was going to put all vets are evil - but as there are probably some honest ones out there I wont say that!

I must admit that our vet is very strange !! I am seriously considering moving as I don't think I would trust him to do anything major on oor wee pup. Certainly not if we decide to remove his gonads !!:eek::rotfl::rotfl:
( PS don't know if that is how you spell gonads as I must admit to never have written them down before:o ):rotfl::rotfl:
  • I remember when being asked if peedie was a 'full dog' I replied well - he's peedie (hence the name) but he's fully grown.

I didn't realise it meant did he have his nutts or not (dunno if you spell those kind of NUTTS that way?!) lol - they had to 'explain' it to me.

Needless to say - he's nuttless.
