Upgrade Sim

I have a Samsung E720 on Orange. I am upgrading me to a Sony Ericcson W810 I

I want to give my son the Sony . I have been told by Orange I will need to put the new sim in the new phone as this is much more high teck and a bigger camera. I have to do this to register the upgrading of the account I have been told.
Can I then put the new SIM in my old Sansung and carry on regardless??

sounds like nonsense

in my old days with orange they would always send out a new sim card and phone seperately, part of their security

all sims are the same these days apart from the 3 network ones

the new sim should work in the old phone with no problem

hi i bought a nokia n97 of ebay its on 3 network and needs unlocked the imei number is : 356064036966931

i have tried loads of places and the shop here is going to charge me £45 as i live on the isle of man and dont have big networks over here please help !!!!!
