Morning all,
Have been up to my neck in grandchildren for last few days...nothing exciting happening, sorry I tell a lie, my Tightwad Gazette came in the post on Monday and I have been busy reading it ever since....DDs think I am mad but then they did anyway! Lots of things just too frugal for me to think of, lots too American and some no longer apply since my children grew up but still a great read and lots to get the imagination working.
Hugs to all in need or want of one.
Congratulations Hilstep, that is good news.
Glad that the trip was good Mioliere.
Cold here to-day too, although it is nice and bright so feels better.

Hillstep - great news on the appeal, well done.
Mioliere - your trip sounds wonderful, bet you didn't want to leave. Glad its not too long before you have your relatives coming out to visit you. Love the name summer, such a happy name.
Molly - Sorry you're not feeling so good. Did Lakeland ever get back to you about that horrible courier lady (or did I just miss the update?).
Lowesey - enjoy your hols.
Haribo - I always end up bringing things back from the tip as well, kids love going there!
We had a lovely day yesterday, went to Alton Towers. Our Merlin passes run out on Thursday so wanted to get some last use out of them. It was freezing, but we had a great day. Very small queues, and we got to be front seat riders on air which was fab.
DD went for a sleepover last night and isn't long back. Her and DS are just fighting over the wii, so DS has been sent to his room.
I've got a docs appointment at 4pm for the strange pain in my side which I've still got.0 -
hellooo
Off now with DS for the hols then I have a weeks holiday next week.....I only work Mon and Tues anyway but it is lovely to be off all week:j.
Just had fortnightly MrS delivery....am going to have to get some stuff used up as running out of storage space....it is hard to get used to fortnightly deliveries and how much to order etc but it is saving me money;)
Just had delivery for DS too...he loves the radio and listens to it every night but wanted one with the names of the stations displayed so I treated him to a Pureone mini.....he loves it. He says he is going to work on Radio when he is big enough:rotfl: apparently he is going to work for Galaxy and on his days off he will work for Radio one:T:rotfl:;).
Steak, salad and wedges for OH and I tonight, DS having sausage, mash ,peas gravy and yorkshires.
Very cold today, have to venture out soon to post a parcel( DS loves it as he gets to mess with Post office door handle...don`t ask:o)
Not much OS going on today as prefer being with DS when he is off to rushing round cleaning. Will catch up with it next week...it is tidy enough anyway.0 -

Hope everyone is keeping well
Haven't been on for a few days as i'm feeling very stressed out atm. What with OH and his situation we can't plan anything, I like plans so I have something to focus on or my mind just wanders.
I also had a disagreement with a friend and she really hurt my feelings so I have been stewing on that.
HUGS TO ALL!!
I was thinking about you the other day when DS2 was at court - was it the 12th your DH was there? how did he get on?
Our lives must be following the same plot at the moment I too was really hurt recently by one of my oldest friends who felt she had a worthy opinion...
Hope everything works out for you xClimbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Snap been thinking about you too. He got bailed AGAIN until the 29th of March, I just wish they would be on with it and we could arrange things.
Yeah I got a very very snotty and hurtful comment, which she then said I had took the wrong way but told our mutual friend that she did mean it IYSWIM. So basically she's trying to make me look like this emotional loony, when I'm not, she cant just open her mouth and expect people not to say anything back to her
Hows your DS getting on? x0 -

Did she honestly think that wouldn't get back to you? Sounds like it's her that is twisting things to suit her, not you. As if you'd not got enough on your plate at the moment...fingers crossed that 29th March is better news for you all.0 -
Afternoon everyone,
still cold and frosty here but now we have freezing fog too
, think i`m going to hibernate later
Just really popped back on to say Bitsy, NicLou, Diva and any other gardening OSers who are interested that the BBC dig it campaign should be starting up again and i do believe that free seeds should be available from March 1st :j:j:j
That should help out with the food shopping later in the year
Enjoy your afternoon guys.

Yeah she thinks that her and our friend are like best of buddies but their both single so they spend alot of time together as it suits them. All she does is !!!!! and moan about everyone and thinks her opinion is all that matters.
Tbh I don't really want anything to do with her now but we have alot of the same friends so to keep the peace i'll be civil to her
Thank you, my fingers and toes are crossed too
