Poo - did they not go with the tartan effect then? But I agree stripes would be very effective. I take it they talked that particular neighbour round?

I am so pleased they managed to get the over-the-roof bit in, I remember it didn't look possible at one point but they're clever chaps. Mike will be amazed.

Shame about the hanging baskets, but you can't have everything. I suppose they would have looked a bit too traditional, even with the funky 'unweeded look'. Maybe they'll find a way. I think Mike quite liked them...

At lunch today, a colleauge was talking about taking her caravan away, for test run for the summer, with a girl friend. Where are you off to I ask? Littlehampton she replied.:eek: Thinking to myself she must be an MSEer. When are you going? I said 16/17/18th July she says. Not June then says me. For a few seconds I was really jealous. Perhaps I should tell her of a little cottage where she could park it because come July Mike want some more visitors. :rotfl: Billie xx

I was thinking they could go in the bedroom. Unconventional, a bit of greenery and Mike wouldn't have to get out of bed to water them!!
We could always suggest it on Wednesday - there'll be enough of us there to just pop a few up!

Yeah Billie, any friends of yours, just tell them to park their big white fibreglass trailers right in front of my place, use the showers, whatever. I'm open 24/7 for milk and eggs too

Hi - I haven't been around for a while - partly 'cos I was feeling left out as I could not come down to help out and it all seemed so coded. Funds aren't really permitting :mad: at the moment.
I would like to join in the newsletter please though if I may - MW I will pm my email address if that's o.k.
Perhaps Mike would take some pictures of his shiny new house and reveal day (or anyone else that's there that thinks of taking photos) and they can be emailed to anyone who's interested as I guess the BBC will not want them released properly until the programme airs -which could be months.

Oh DF I know exactly where you are coming from here - there was a little band of us in the beginning and and then bang......... but Mike knows who we are and although we can't be there in person he knows we will be thinking of him. As I said in my previous post, I was jealous of a colleague whom I thought, for the first few seconds of the conversation, was on her way to the reveal!!!:eek: Oh so not fair, but then life isn't is it. How I would love to be able to just do the things I wanted to (and I don't mean anything flash here jsut jumping in the car and driving to Littlehampton) and not have to come to work to pay debts and bills. We stand together DF and the ones not able to be there :T Billie xx

Just feeling a little bit detatched from it all now really. I am really , really pleased Mike is getting his house done but it's just a shame we can't all help in person (I know there's not room for all of us though!), real life is getting in the way and sadly getting Mike's house fixed doesn't a) get Mike his money back and get him justice and b) really help any of the other people that have also been ripped off.
