Hi there Mike..............I have just spent 4 hours reading through your thread, I just wanted to say congratulations you deserve to have your house finished after such a rotten experience there really are such evil people around.

Well done to the MSE'rs, it just shows what people power can help to achieve, give yourselves a round of applause!!

I would love to have been with you to help, but as the job is starting tomorrow and I do not have wings, I am afraid you will have to count me out, but I will be reading the thread from now on and look forward to seeing the finished result on TV. I guess you will not be able to say too much about whats been done until after the programme airs, so you must tell us when it is.

Your problems made mine look so very insignifcant.........I hope you and your boys enjoy living in the renovated Dolls House........

At last I've finished reading it all, I've been lurking for a while but my pc doesn't like me logging in to MSE and only lets me do it every now and then, but today it's let me in, so I'm so looking forward to seeing the end result on TV , and really wish I could come down for it but I don't drive and I'm skint so I can't. I'll be there in spirit making cups of tea but not in person.

Thank you for such a nice message. I am extremely lucky. I hope other people benefit from my experience in some way.

Nobody's problems are more or less significant than anyone else's. It's a lot harder to face them on your own though. The biggest barrier for me was admitting I couldn't find any way forward without support from other people. Once one has done that, things become much easier.

Well Mike after several evenings and more than a few wines I can honestly say this was as gripping as The DaVinci code, but so much more exciting...lol. Having dipped in and out of this thread for a few weeks I can honestly say WELL DONE you lot...what an achievement....Cannot wait to see the finished article and way to go people power
