Evening all, proper post coming up soon but I just wanted to say ditto everything SB said. In fact, I hope one day to be as fick a SB, she's inspirational!
You go girl!

Evening all (ooh and it still is evening this time!),
Got to go to bed early tonight as I've got an early start tomorrow!
Matymoo, I hope you can make it if only for the reveal!
DF, hiya hun, I agree about the "naming and shaming" on the website being a bit dodgy. It would be great to make it as informative as possible without it being information overload.
Mike, that's fab news! I hope all went well. Can't wait to read on to see what the outcome is, but I'm replying to posts as I read them so I'm not going to fast forward. Hope tomorrow goes well too.
Catflea, enjoy your cat nap!
Sunnydais, yes I think many of us agree with you which is why we'd like to try to do something about it. Please feel free to chip in with any ideas as to what!
Note to everyone: There's no pressure on anyone to get involved with our next campaign but it would be lovely if, when we do something, you could promote it for us.
Happy (Pincusion), hope the sun shines on you and your back is fine.
Jest, bring a daddy bear size, a mommy bear size and a baby bear size, should find one that fit's the bill!
Gettingbetter, feel free to join us, we're all lovely, Mike said we are.
Psycho, hope you get your email soon.
Radarjet, hope someone can answer you., not sure who if anyone is keeping a tally of who's going when or what will be expected of them.
Thanks Aylana, I'm sure we'll be able to find someone who know's a little bit about the law to point us in the right direction. I was thinking about the older ones in particular because they've already been outed but if we're honest, would we remember the names of dodgy builders featured on these programmes after 6 months to a year? I know I wouldn't. I was thinking of maybe trying to find out if they have let their "outed" company go and started trading again under the pretence of being director or something like that (what ever the loophole is that they can use to start trading again).
Mike, I agree with MatyMoo. One T Shirt is just not enough no matter how close you are with your boys!
MatyMoo, so glad you are able to come along!
ooh lost the plot with my responses as I got ahead of myself reading!
Oh well, if I missed anything/anyone - sorry, I'll try and catch you next time!
Jack welcome to the thread and like I said, ditto everything SB said! I think I'm more practical than compassionate, not that I'm saying SB isn't, it's just I don't do compassion as well as most. Maybe, if SB's OCD can become CJD, my OCD can become Autism. Who knows? We could be breaking into new medical finds in this thread. Somebody call The Lancet!
Is there a local Looney Bin anywhere around your neck of the woods? And if so can they put us all up for a few nights?
Be back soon,

This compassionate bit....that's your diplomatic way of saying I'm a Drip innit!
When you got no brains, you let your heart do the talking! :rotfl:
I can't even remember who else I was going to leave a message for now, the will and ability to multitask has left me!

Excuse typos and quirky grammar - I have been reading this thread all day. It kinda grabbed me in a way that a decent whodunnit does. I just couldn't stop myself. The fact that it is set in Littlehampton where a good friend of mine spent her last days living very happily in St Catherines Rd, I had no option but to read on.
Having spent so long I thought I'd help out other newbies with my...
Synopsis so far
Poor Mike aka Lisa had the misfortune to be ripped off by a total !!!!!! of a builder and left in appalling conditions. Becomes ill because of all the stress of taking said !!!!!! to court and getting nowhere fast.
On here he meets some pretty amazing, supportive, humorous people who gather round and support him through the darkest days of his ordeal. Eventually after sorting out his benefit problems, the one show finally take notice and said !!!!!! is named and shamed on national tv. Riding on the crest of a wave the following items seem to be important
Carnation milk
Jimmy Choos
Purple wheelbarrows
Cross dressers
skirts and heels
hob nobs
More good news comes in in the form of DIY SOS taking up the story and getting involved... the story continues...
I hope you don't mind a newbie muscling in but having read the posts you seem like an amazing lot. Well cool as the young ones might say.
All I'd like to say Mike is that you've been, and are going, through a hell of an ordeal but look what you've gained from it. Just look around at the amazing people that you now call friends. :A
I wish you and your supporters every success both with the filming and with the court stuff going on in the background. I certainly hope that the !!!!!! gets his comeuppance. It may take time, you may never see it but he will get it somewhere and somehow.0 -
I think you lot need to take a pill - and lie down in a dark room. You are nuts. But lovely with it. :rotfl:
Poor Jack must think I am insane. He booked a T-shirt ages ago and I asked him if he was going to the reveal if not to let me have his address. He PM'd me tonight saying his Dad gave the wrong size and then I rumbled who he was.
He was nervous about tomorrow and I told him to give them the doe eyed look, he replied he might try sniffing some onions beforehand. Guess he is as crazy as us.
Guess its time for my beauty sleep (Too little too late:()
More tomorrow - sleep tight everyone.

Merry, I am in a dark room, I can't afford to put the lights on and have the tv on at the same time! I haven't taken a pill though and I'm not lying down yet, but that will be remedied very soon. Sleep well!

ETA: Right time for bed! Good night all and sleep well.

That's a pretty accurate synopsis Mish Moneypenny. Welcome to the MadHouse... there is no going back...
