Are you sure you want one TShirt for you and the boys - even XL it will be a bit of a tight squeeze :rotfl:
Seems like things are moving along nicely. So pleased nothing major needs doing structurally and can't wait to see the end result
Maty
Saucy. Who have you been talking to?

Having been away for a couple of weeks, I've read back lots of pages to catch up but am still floundering a bit.
Is it just by invite only if you get one from the BBC ?
Which days are best to come and help ?
What tools/equip do we need to bring ?
What input is needed, do we need to be a specialist at anything ?
Do you need names in order to establish numbers of helpers or can we just turn up ?
Which biscuits are Mikes faves - I know about him needing a coffee fix regularly
Many thanks indeed

Where do we begin?
Christine Nisbett, BBC, is the one dishing out the jobs. You could contact her. I will PM her email.
She decides days and chores.
Don't think you need tools.
Guess they have the specialists. She muttered elf en safety to me.
Don't think just turning up to work would be sensible. Filming in progress and all that.
Most of us are planning a great weekend for the reveal on the 18th. A lot of us where possible are making a Thursday to Sunday party of it.
You don't need to sign up for that, book a B&B and just turn up.
As to Mike Fave biscuit you would have to ask him.

The party goes into Sunday? I though you'd all be gone by Saturday afternoon! I have people here on Sunday and they don't expect to have to step over comatose revellers. No names or nuffin!

Good luck Mike, hope all goes well. Shame I only found this thread at the final minute.0

Tough S**t mate! We are going to whoop it up with or without you.
I didn't have you down for such a disgusting cup of coffee - next you will be telling me you use that garbage out of a jar!:( They would hang you in Holland with those tastes. With a posh new house you are going to have to be more upmarket. Life will have to change my friend.:rotfl:
Right - today I have square eyes and a sore b*m sorting out this shindig, that and gassing with SouthernBelle for ages. Time for some food and maybe a little tincture to relax me. Maybe more than one for medicinal purposes you understand.
As for you being a plonker on TV - I am sure your inner beauty will shine thru and everyone will fall in love with you. Plonker or not...giggle.
I'm orfff

Good point Poo and some good ideas. Still it is only libel if you are stating things you have no evidence of as far as I know. If things were worded carefully like "Mr Cowboy Builder was paid by Mrs M T Bank on X/X/X and as of the current date the work has not been completed." Then surely that would be an entirely factual statement that visitors to a website could draw their own conclusions from ?
I might be wrong on that of course but if we can find someone who knows more about it then it can be gotten around I am sure!
I like the idea of keeping an eye on the older ones too though, no doubt a lot of them go back to their old ways! After all, it is profitable for them.

Perhaps a site such as Checkatrade would be interested in contributions to a subsite on how not to get conned, and what to do if you have been...?

The L is for me.
But I'll still be keeping a low-profile in all this forum business as I have been, This is Dad's gig really.
