Done! Hope the following was ok:
"Dear Mr. Knight,
I write to offer my support for the email that you have already received from Mike, the owner of "The Doll's House" in Littlehampton, West Sussex.
Mike has had an incredibly difficult time over the last year or so. After suffering divorce and ill-health he bought a property with a view to improving it and making a fresh start to his life. With great hopes for the future of his home, he hired a builder recommended to him by friends. Unfortunately, the builder (Mr Bridle) turned out to be a thief and a con-artist who has succeeded in not only stealing all of Mike's life-savings, but also leaving him living in a property that can only be considered to be unfit for human habitation.
Mike has tried to remain cheerful & optimistic throughout all of this debacle and has generated quite a following on the Money Saving Expert website. His charm & intelligence shines through in his posts, as it did when he appeared on "The One Show" earlier in the month.
I feel that both Mike & "The Doll's House" would make an excellent subject for your programme. Mike really needs a hand right now and "The Doll's House" deserves to become the picture-perfect house that it definitely can be.
with best regards,
Liz"
What great letter, grimbal! Thanks so much. I'd probably have just put 'Do Mike's cottage or we'll sit outside your house for six months' or something!
And you'll have Poo on your lawn too. See how you like HER...

Mission accomplished, went for a slightly different tack (didn't use key words in subject matter).
"Mr Knight I do apologise for further clogging up your emails with yet another request for you to make Mike & "The Doll's House" the subject of a future show. However, I feel very strongly about this and would like to offer my support.
As I am sure you are aware by now, Mike has been conned out of a tremendous amount of money and the whole experience has left him ill and living in dreadful conditions. Despite having a CCJ and charging order against the builder he is no closer to having a habitable home in which he can safely look after his sons.
Throughout all this, Mike has tried to remain cheerful and positive, and has been very supportive of other people on his now infamous Money Saving Expert thread. Mike is a very proud man who does not seek help lightly, but has come to realise he must accept it in order to move on. You are in a very fortunate position to be able to give Mike his life back and I implore you to do so.
I realise you will receive many, many requests for help and must turn down the vast majority. You also need to consider what would make 'good telly'. From a purely visual viewpoint the house is charming and the story behind it would captivate any audience. I do hope that there are sufficiently different angles here to make this one stand out.
I apologise again for the assault on your inbox and ask you to at least investigate the Doll's House further.
Thank you for your time."
