Have you sorted your outfit yet? Are you going for the feathers and sequins or something a bit more dressy?

    :)

BTW, if you need some shoes to go with your 'red carpet' frock, one of us could probably rustle up a pair for you.

    :p

Something 'mother of the bride' probably? Per Una? Karen Millen? So much more sympathetic for my age-group, don't you think? Shoes shouldn't be a problem from what I hear.

You seem to know a lot about this stuff, Mike. Just saying.

mscfsb, thanks for offering Mike help & sorry to hear of your difficulties because of clients. Stick around, good builders are worshipped here!
niccatw, also sorry to hear your Dad has been hit by unpaying customers. Shame to see the good ones taking the knocks while the ones who refuse to pay up or complete work carry on unaffected. (glad the heels worked out though niccatw, knew you'd carry it off!);)

Here's hoping Mikes builder gets a rude awakening tomorrow night.:D Nothing less than what he deserves.

Sky Installation! 3rd visit & still not done. If I miss the show or on-line party because I have no working services I'll be needing your services Mike. I know how you like to write letters of complaint! :p

My services are available 24/7. Mainly in exchange for food.

I'm also a believer in sending letters thanking people who really provide a good service. So rare, and they're so excited to get them they sometimes phone up.

I'm fortunate to not need anything more than a quick brush and I am done, rippling and glistening manfully in the mists and the clear early morning sunshine, like a young buck otter watching its prey on the banks of a mirror-flat Scottish loch.

    Actually
    Just catching up :D

Coffee up nose and onto laptop when I choked, you b*gger :rotfl:.

And this after I had to go through my recipe books with my DD and her friend earlier today to look for cake recipes, and descended into a fit of giggles when I reached the Nigella ones - try explaining the reason for that to 2 bemused innocents :p

Anyhoo, onto the important stuff - I trust we have the finger buffet and dips sorted for tomorrow evening's premiere? Enough Pringles to go around? My contribution will be spicy pepper cous cous (hope it doesn't clash with the tangy variety!) and some fairy cakes - though not served together, obviously

Ooh I'm all excited now :D

And now craving dippy egg and soldiers for supper!
