Sorry about the double post up there! I thought the page had times out or something it took forever to upload and then went to theplain white page with a stupid message on it!
Anyway, this is what I've typed as I've caught up:-
Mike, congrats on the backpay. You got to spend it somewhere and the car tax has to be paid so that's one less thing to have to worry about. Things are on the up for you.
Sb, I never fall out of bed when clenching and counting lol. But thanks for calling me wise.
"Wise Poos never fall out of bed" I said that not Confusionus (whatever his name is).
Miggy and SB, Thanks for the encouragement on the garden. I used Smiley's link to Landshare (a few pages back). A lady has got back to me already, she's going to come round some time to have a look. I hope it's not too small for her.
Miggy, still no more street money for me and no I don't have enough for some crisps yet. Still there's a few days left till end of month. Hope DD has a great time in the old US of A.
DF, congrats on finding a new home, hope you get it!
Red, welcome back, sorry to hear of your tradespeople and drainage problems but congrats on finding a penny!
Smiley, thanks for the link to Landshare. I used it and have someone coming to see my garden. Yay!
Hi Billie, sorry things are not going good for you. If you live in a big city is there a dental hospital there? If you're not "girlie" about the dentist you can sign up there and be their guinie pigs for free! Oh I must do that, I haven't been to the dentist for a few years.
I don't like Tizer. I'm sure there's something happening on 22nd April hmmm... bah it's probably just another normal day!
I'm a Gemini by the way.
I need to get off to bed now, work tomorrow (boo). I'll check in again tomorrow though. Have a good day tomorrow all.
Good night, sleep well and take care,

SouthernBelle's choreographing a short contemporary dance too. Like she did when she hit her thumb with that hammer...

Miggy, shame on me for forgetting to say hi to you! Like you, I'm forever trying to keep up with everyone and what's going on. How are you managing after waving goodbye to you DD & is it a permanant move or holiday? I don't think I could bear to let mine go! (annoying as he is at times! lol) Pity the poor girl he ever marries, I've created a lazy toad and will be the MIL from hell!
I keep checking my email for news from DD and she's hoping to get her Skype sorted tomorrow - she's coping okay and is with her best friend but the two of them are only 16 so it's a big adventure and scary - not only for them! She is volunteering in a children's home for a few weeks then doing who-knows-what back here before hopefully starting a college course in September. Dh and I are envious...Miggy

Thanks for asking Mike, I am getting there, just gone quiet which is not me. Thanks also to SB for her kind PM. We will be interring the ashes on Monday and then can move on I think.
Hope you can face the Building Regs forms, as you cannot move on without them. I still would consider going into the planning office asking to see the BR officer for your area with the blank forms, tell him what has happened and see if he will help you fill them in. They can be really helpful I have found. Maybe a short skirt and a sweet smile didn't go amiss (I was younger and smaller then), but a polite approach usually works anyway.
 the the rest of you, glad someone got their assignments in (sorry memory like a sieve).

Hello everyone, thought I'd break my silence now I've finally de-lurked after several years of reading MSE as a non-member!
Mike, just want to say that I've followed your thread since it started; I've laughed and cried with you all, got angry and sad at your ongoing sagas, and really admire what you and your support group have achieved so far :T
Oh yes, I have a purple hat (and lots of others), but no cats, only a neurotic dog and DD who is 8 going on 40. And lots of carrier bags, despite using reusable shopping bags. So I should fit right in with certain members on here :rotfl:0
