"EDIT: have been sent some links to recent discussion's...thanks"

Hope in asking in the right place....

Free deals after cashback ?

Are there many deals around like this ? my current deal expires at the end of the month, and having had about 4 years of free mobile calls (after cashback) was wondering if this is still the way to go....

Have found an 18 month deal with a free phone for £25 a month with my current suppliers, but noticed that these deals don't seem to exist much anymore....

I have not taken much notice of these things since i signed up to my last deal which was 18 months ago, so am rather out of the loop so to speak...

Any advice/tips greatly appreciated..

All the best..Paul...

Like you my 12 months free on cashback is coming to an end.
I reckon in the last 7 years I've only paid for mobile phone usage once when the company went bankrupt halfway through the contract. I tend to stick to the big retailers or wholly owned subsidiaries now

There don't seem to be many completely free deals around. According to onecompare.com there are free deals on T-mobile a buymobilephones.co.uk

Coverage on T-mobile where I am is pretty bad and I have no idea who buynobilephones are and if they'll still exist in 6 months, so I'll probably go with the Sony Ericsson W205 on O2 at phones4u.co.uk . £320 cashback on 18months @ £20/month works out at £40 for 18 months or £2.22/month. (Although £35 cashback by going through Quidco reduces this to £5 for 18 months)

In both cases go through Quidco to get £25/£35 cashback.
