I sent the letter thats on grumbletext and now have a reply saying my account is on hold for 28 days while they get the info.0

I sent in that letter. Be careful. They sent back a letter of bank headed paper. So when you do get a response from them, certainly check it out with original company. The reason I know the letter was fraudulent (amongst other things) was that it was on headed paper from the "Bank of Scotland". Thing is, my debt is with the "ROYAL Bank of Scotland". Obviously someone at capquest took their eye off the ball.
I have reported this as a CRIME with the police, and the OFT are also dealing with it. They continued to phone me, chasing the debt. I told them in no uncertain terms to send the documents I asked for. When they threatend to take me to court, i almost fell of my chair from laughter.
Just be careful of what you get back, this company isnt past faking letters from banks....0 -

Debt Help UK forum - the guys here know all about Crapquest and can help you. You will need to register to be able to use the forum.
I'm sure if you mentioned this on the Debt Free Wannabe board of this site you'd get lots of advice too.
Seems the message is Capquest = BAD.
