Thought I would give Opera a try, but on going to install I received a warning that : "This file does not have a valid digital sinature that verifies its publisher, etc. etc. " Also "This publisher could not be verified"......
So is it OK to install and Run ??

I have tried most of the browsers but have settled with IE8, I don't have aproblem with it. I like Chrome but I still don't think it supports the Google toolbar.

I agree. I have used IE8 for some time now. No problems.

Yes it was inlcluded in last night's Windows Update. I didn't install it and looking at that, I'm glad.

I didn't get that choice. It downloaded just before I shut down.

IE8 has improved a lot if we look back IE6. really good to use fast and light.

Thanks for the info Busenbust, the regular 'thanks' button seems to have disappeared from this thread, hence this post. Anyone else noticed this ? All other threads are fine !

It is over on the far right for me.

Are you signed in to the forum?

Back to topic, I am going to give FF and maybe Opera a try and see how I go with them.
I have read about Google obtaining information through Chrome, is this any worse than it would be for me now as I already use Gmail, Google toolbar and Google for searches?

As you can see I managed to find the'Thanks' button. Somehow this page is coming up much larger than other pages on MSE, so the Thanks Button was hidden!
