Doulas - worth the money?

skintchick and never enough, many thanks for your replies. Really helps. One of them also runs the local antenatal yoga classes, and I already expressed an interest to her about those too.

I think we are veering towards going for it. Though I've emailed three so far, and none have replied yet! Maybe they are busy helping a new mummy give birth!

Only you will know if you want someone else in the room with you. I would suggest meeting a couple and seeing how you get on. It costs nothing to explore the prospect.

Strange that all three have not replied, maybe they are all tied up, but it seems unlikely! Might be worth looking for other contact details-can you find a mobile number? Good luck with everything. I know I would definitely go for one if I needed it.

I know! I emailed all three via the doula website, so maybe there's a fault! I will text at the start of next week if I still haven't heard (though texting isn't as MSE as emailing! )
