    Hi Everyone,
I'd like to join this challenge too, I'll pledge to spend £200 in March for fuel, food for me and DBF.
    Love Emski x
  • A warm welcome to our new challengers, only three days to go to frugal March! Good luck everyone!!

My work has a new pension scheme which (as always seems to be the way) looks like we will end up taking less money home every month, so it's more important than ever that I manage to keep my spending in check. Easier said that done of course but I am finding that just spending with cash is making a huge impact, I always end up spending much more at the supermarket when I am paying by card as it isn’t real money is it? ;) I am much more miserly when I actually have to hand coins and notes over.

  • Can I join please?

I too have little to spare at the end of each month after rent, bills, loan payments, credit card payments etc etc the list goes on. I am therefore creeping further and further into my overdraft whcih is just adding to my debt so think this will help massively to claw this back and then start spending within my means!!

Similarly to louwilko04 I too won't be including petrol as I unfortunatley commute 80 miles a day a long way and therefore spend £150 as it is but I do car share so at least that is halved!! (also looking for a new job closer to home... and if it had a better salary would be an added bonus!)

I am going to out £150 for this month (would try for £100 but need to pay for contact lenses this month :()

    Good luck everyone!

    Morning all,

I'm really excited about this challenge. I think during Jan & Feb I was a bit demotivated but it's a lovely sunny morning (for at least the next 5 mins ) and that always makes things a bit easier.

I'm tootling off to join the NSD for March challenge.

    Good luck all.
