When to use PAC code??

I gave 30 days notice to 3 to end my contract and requested my PAC on 8th Feb. They said my final bill will be on 10th March.
My confusion is - as I pay line rental and have free minutes etc til 10th March, should I wait and use my PAC on say 5th March or use it now?
If I use it now am I throwing away the free mins etc with 3?
Or if I wait will I be charged more or something.
