Hi

We are looking for something similar to the above phone. The dogs got hold of the last one and the insurance company will only replace like for like. They say they found one on Amazon but it's a sim free one that apparently doesn't work too well with 3.

Can anyone explain why they are suddenly sim free and what the problem is with 3 (locked into contract until Oct).

Has anyone got any suggestions of a similar phone?

  • If you could, that would be brilliant - then I just have to persuade the insurance people!

    hope it helps.
  • can I ask a really stupid question - I assume sim free means no sim card at all, then how can you check your brothers card with it?

Please don't be mean to me....I'm having a stupid day:embarasse

sim free just means no sim supplied with the handset (as in i wont supply you with a sim card). I've tried my orange sim and a t-mobile sim in it and it all works.

it is an ex o2 phone but they are not locked to the o2 network.
