If I knew of anywhere I could get a real human bean to take them, I would probably use such a service, anamenottaken wrote: »Thank you so much: your typo cheered me up as I imagined the photo session.Signature removed for peace of mind0

£5.99 in Snappy Snaps - with a human being wielding the digital camera.0

Our local chemist does a passport photo service where they take the photos themselves. Similar price to a booth.
The advantage of this is that they can take as many digital photos as is necessary to get an acceptable one. They know the rules for passport photos (don't know if the same ones apply to blue badges) and so you're much less likely for the application to be returned due to the photo not being accepted. (And if it does come back for this reason they'll take them again for free!)
It's great for baby passport photos as it can really take quite a few attempts at getting it right.
Might be worth seeing if you have a chamist or photo shop that does this, OP? Might be easier to use than a booth...0 -
£4 in a booth, if you can find one that works. Then you have to get it right. I paid more in Max Spielman's ( £6-8?) for a human being to do it and this was accepted for my passport. Now I'm stuck with a photo which is not at all flattering. I reckon I look 20+ yrs older than I am in real life. Heigh ho.0

Usually around £4 in a photo booth, and the council aren't as particular as the passport service about a good photo for a disbled Blue Badge As long as the whole face is visible and there's a reasonable resemblance the council seems quite happy..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

If the baby is under a year old most photos will be accepted as long as the image is within the size limits and facing forward - the standards aren't as strict for children under 6 years old0

I did once have my ID photo taken by a real human bean, and I definitely preferred the result. As it is, I look REALLY cross on my latest driving licence! :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
