Im after a bit of advice please.

How do I make a proper complaint to Vodafone?

I recently upgraded with them go an iphone. Initially I wanted the standard 8gb iphone, but after speaking to the bloke he told me I'd be able to get the 16gb white iphone if I traded my old phone in. Saving me £89.99. I thought ... great! Until I rang them to query why I received a bill for £89.99 for the phone a few days later!!

I requested that the call be listened back to where the bloke told me the phone would be free. That was two weeks ago. I have phoned them 7 times, each time being told the manager I need to speak to hasnt had a chance to do this and I would need to wait for her to contact me.

I am getting more and more annoyed and don't know what to do.

I tried to request a copy of the call myself, but was told that they don't have a Data Protection team!!

I could scream.

Does anyone know what department would be help? Or would it be worth ringing Offcom?

Similar to why I recently left them....their CS are terrible, as one person says one thing, then it doesn't get followed through properly...cue 12 long phonecalls to other people trying to explain the problem. They always seem to say they'll do something and not do it properly, causing loads of problems in the future

How much was the old phone worth? I mean in trade in value (not original cost or market value).

After posting the above I tried to ring them once more. I demanded to make a complaint to a manager and low and be hold 12 mins later, the £89.99 has been creditted back to my account! They obviously knew they were in the wrong.

I haven't had problems with them until my upgrade, though I do agree, their CS is utter poo!
