Contract finished....
Hi
Ive finished my contract with o2 it was an 18 month iphone contract and im looking to cancel it now i dont want to renew it. What is the correct steps i should take?
I might try and hanggle for a good renewal but as it stands just now i want to leave as i cant really afford it, so do i not have to do anything just let it finish on the 26th? or do i have to give them notice? will they automatically renew it?
Thanks

The contract isn't finished your minimum term is, it changes to a rolling monthly contract. You need to call them either to work out a upgrade / better deal or to cancel. If you don't it continues at the same cost per month.
You'll have to give them 30 days notice so the earliest it can now finish is the 16th of March (if you call today)0 -
If you need to keep your number you need to ask for a pac code (which lasts 30 days). Give that to your new networks and they'll move your number over and the O2 contract will end.
If you don't need your O2 number just ask to cancel and 30 days later the contract ends.0
