Sorry to hear that DH is not playing ball. In my limited experience with (my) men and money, they react out of guilt and would rather have a go than admit you are right - of course this might just apply to my OH :rotfl: You do have my sympathies, I have my up and down days with OH. I can start upset about finances, and he ends up annoyed and cross with me - what's that all about???
Hope you are managing to laugh right now x1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Any-one, who is awake, got any opinions on that

Hi Red, where is all that positive energey coming from? I've not long got out of bed and am feeling shattered. I'm sure if I had lots of money I'd feel better
Have given myself a headache thinking about finances this morning so am going to try and spend the day chilling and reading to take my mind off things.

In the purchase of the pressure washer at £89 I have found some receipts from B&Q when DH went to buy the bathroom tiles (which still isn't finished) He bought a saw thingy at £16 so the cuts in tiles around radiator would not have to be straight! (This is supposed to be an el cheapo bathroom makeover until I can afford new suite) So that along with other unecessary 'stuff' has made me £23, plus I have a credit note for £15 so now the washer is costing me £51!
PS Another reason we are in debt is DH implusive shopping!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Isn't it 15% off at B&Q this weekend (if you spend £50 or more)? I know it was yesterday and I'm sure that it is today. I think you'll qualify. Hope you do x12/04/2019

I did indeed qualify, but they wouldn't give me credit note on unused tile thingy which meant I was down £16 - so it cost me £66, was orginially £149 reduced to £109 so I am a happy Red!
Went to Sainsburys - spend £50 there and get £10 off. I spent £51.85 which I think is flipping marvellous (I know diehards would say I should have spent £50.01!) FYI one of their offers is 3 chickens for £10, which I thought was good.LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.
