Sorry folks and aren't you all so lovely as to enquire about my whereabouts!

Our internet was down and my laptop at work was away for repair - so here I was home alone and oh what you have missed......................now let me think

    Oh Yeah nothing/nada/zilch!

DH stopped huffing and then a huge fight on Sunday, but all ok now!

But I do have a question, should one set aside pennies for evenings out/dinner etc (albeit for cheapies) and weekends away in order to keep ones' marriage alive or should one pay such pennies to Ricard>

Oh i always have a pot for at least one treat a month but we also only eat out if we have a voucher for money off. You have to be inventive on what you do but that makes it fun ;)

Yeah I think you are right HWG - we all need some fun and we are definately getting grumpy not having fun. DH doesn't drink so a pub is pointless for him.............eating out is really our thing I think.

And now we have Cameron as PM - why do I feel paniced!

I think you should set aside a bit of money for fun but find something to do very cheaply...especially something you both enjoy.

I think one meal out a month will be good for your marriage! It won't add any time to your debt free date and you'll retain your sanity lol x

We have 4 kids so we break it up, every other week someone gets to go out. 2 eldest daughters have treat (like cinema or meal) one week with parent of their choice, 2 youngest have treat two weeks later -again with one of us and then 2 weeks after that myself and dh have a well deserved night out.;) We normally use vouchers as someone else mentioned, or go to a local carvery, then go home and make the most of a house to ourselves - and get a full 8 hours sleep!:rotfl:I don't think you even need to go out but you do need an occasional night away from the usual routine! Get a takeaway, open bottle of wine and watch a film!
Proud to be dealing with my debts,

    Hi Red you ok?

You don't seem to be posting much at the moment, are you losing focus of just busy, or just being slack at updating your diary like I was!
