See I am a smart cookie - I knew it was a taxi co. :)

Spent this evening making tea, doing some proper work (that which I get paid for and skived off 2 hours early cuz the weather was delightful) and then working on business accounts.

March was an ok month, better than last March and better than Feb but it should be, people buy less tarts in Dec Jan Feb and start to buy more at Easter right thru to October so we are past the worst part of the year! I am not sure there is profit though as although sales are up by 120% so is the expenditure (mostly in the dreaded wage bill (is the same for all) which DH says cannot be reduced more - we have 3 part time workers)

We have some shops on account and some who pay cash weekly - and that is an issue because not one week goes by where the money in his pocket plus receipts of money spent = what the docket book says!! Not once!

Tonight I suggested he puts all money and receipt in a bag and just hands me the bag on Friday evening because I truly he is snacking on fivers!!
