Morning RED,
Now whats the plan £10 a day  you can do this you have until June 1st then ebay bring in the 100 a month limit. Should I set the challenge for 100 this week
I wanted to get a carboot in this month but I think I have run out off weekends should have done it yesterday, so need to make the rest of April up through ebay and amazon then I guess carboot will hit May challenge....
Go for it with business accounts you may even find it works better of you control all the cash, how about giving DH some cash and asking for change and receipts every day or give him a small notebook to write it all down sounds like he's nearly on board with money saving. Having said that i know what my DH would say if i asked him to do the aboveMARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

LOL gave him the notebook 2 weeks ago and it is still as good as new!
No more challenges - I haven't met the last two! And hating ebayers at the minute, apparently mint condition means new - and of course they forget they bought it for 99p!
Ok off to garden - sunny day and all that.

Hi Red, hope your enjoying the sunshine and getting some gardening done as well. Well done on deciding to tackle the business debts, your so focused I have no doublts that you'll be able to do it. Ricardo will be pleased your not leaving as quickly as planned but he knows that the idea is set in your mind and it'll only be a matter of time before he'll be kicked out for good.
Keep up the good work x12/04/2019

I totally agree that business and personal debt has to be looked at altogether and then you know exactly where everything stands.
Also don't overlook when doing the business stuff whether you can get any of the supplies cheaper and whether there is a discount for cash, early settlement ,bulk buying..as this can increase the profit. Is the business viable to keep running? Will DH be better in a paid position somewhere?...all things to look at to truly evaluate the business.
On household finances...you just need to look at all bills and DD to see whether any can be cancelled or whether you can get them cheaper anywhere else....shopping as frugal as possible and only necessary stuff..you'll be surprised how much can be freed up to throw at CCs ..
You are doing fantastically.0 -
I think I have the household expenses sussed..............all DDs and bills had to give 5 good reasons to be paid LOL. Obvioulsy keeping a keen eye on shopping and trying very hard to keep it as low as poss but of course it can always be lower.
With business we have been good about looking for cheapest suppliers etc. Is the business viable..........if we had no debt yes it would be because our expenses would be lower...........catch 22. DH is convinced there is a viable market there, even in recession and he has done very well in the two years he has been running, increasing turnover by 200% but as with all food products...........high output is the key. With the recession it is clearly had an impact but its ok........cash flow is carp and thats our main issue and something that we need to get our heads around and make it work better for us and the business.
DH asked me this afternoon, 'now that you are all MSE about the business as well as the house, do I have to ask you if I can buy flour'........I laughed and said 'would you do that' ........'course I would....he replied in his most sarcastic tone.LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

yes you are so very right.
DF and MF by Dec 2017 is excellent. In March 2018 I will be 50 and thats my goal....simply because I do not want to work all my days to pay a mortgage.
Plus we have no children and so our house is very much our pension....whether we sell, retire and rent or sell it to one of those equity companies I don't yet know.

We may be wishing our lives away but when i sit back and look its quite an exciting journey I have been on for the last 4 months. As I have quite an addictive personality im enjoying the challenge in a strange warped kind of way.
