Well back from shops £99 in Lidl and £48 in Asda, plus another £30 in Asda for diesel (but already had a 1/2 tank so I hoping I won't need to buy any for 2 weeks, esp with being off until Wed.
I was very very sad and walked around Asda with my Lidl receipt just to compare. Asda had so many price matches to Lidl I was shocked. I found Lidl definately cheaper except for animal food - alot cheaper for dry food for dogs and cat, more expensive for wet doggie food - and tins (mushy peas - yum, tuna, sweetcorn etc.
I tried to plan - wrote out the days of the month and matched food to them - not necessarily to eat on that day but to be sure I had enough meat, fish etc. I think I should now only need milk, bread, veg now - but we will see.
The no expense bathroom has now cost £78!!!!!!!!!!!! DH went to B&Q for tiles, grout and obviously some unnecessary sh*t!
IMY not so expensive tiles for this bathroom are £4 per box!!!! I just know they will look grey against white suite - but an optimistic person would say anything looks better than the hardboard they are being stuck to!!

Thats a great price - but that would not be worth it for this bathroom - it really is horrible - I hate the suite, in fact I hated it the day it went in and it was expensive, therefore I have to live with it.
Buying creme eggs - my jaws haven't stopped; I feel so 'empty' without cigs and am constantly hungry. I have some home made chicken soup cooking now in an attempt to eat something realively healthy, and not a zillion calories.
I know our challenge ends today - my loss = 0, gained 4 lbs.
DH bought tiles this evening, there are sitting in hall. The kitchen table, window sill and chairs are covered in his stuff from computer room. I cleared it the other day but don't know whats junk and whats not so I need him to help me. He is working in the bakery presently and tomorrow will be delivering so it will be tomorrow night at the soonest before he looks at the stuff but I truely cant bear shoving it all in the cupboard again. Plus, I know there is stuff I could sell
I will give bathroom second coat tomorrow and also paint the ceiling, which looks grubby now. He said he would tile tomorrow night and Friday night, even though his sister will be here by then. Sometimes its no bad thing having house guests, at least some jobs get done!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Dont forget the extra £300 we are going to make in april i reckon you could be nearer £2500 by the end of the month then that could mean less than £2000 by the end of may.
I think i may have broken the £100/£300 but cant update until the money lands.
Well done on the not smoking too but i think you have another addiction not sure if its cream eggs or debt busting :rotfl:MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

Thanks great -£100 already - I am very impressed! Mine is more like £7!
If I make £300 - I would like to put £100 towards my 'extra's pot' esp since I think car insurance is due in May. I am trying not to think about paying him as much as £200 because you know how 'something' always crops up. EG. I think I need two new tyres!
I haven't budgeted for fuel or food this month because I know the VAT return is coming and it will 'pay me back' the money I spent today - almost £170 plus the bathroom money £78. I owe my sister and brother for my dad's 70th, think that is about £200. That all totals £450 and I know the VAT return is at least £750 so that should give me more than enough to manage thru the month, plus a little more for Ricardo! But again I will not count my chickens.
