I have 2 dehumidifiers running, 1 is in the kitchen and at the moment it isn't touching the condensation and the other is in the dining room. According to the environmental health officer we need a damp proof membrane putting down as the damp is coming through the floors.

We can't get damp proof membrane because the house is built of granite boulders! But really apart from the hall and upstairs near the chimney breast we are fine!
God it is cold today, even I turned the heating on! Woo when you say you run it constantly do you really mean 24/7?
Today is 'preparing bills' day! I how I love how quickley the end of the month comes around.
I am off work on Thurs and Fri which is a pain because I need to go to the city to WW on Thurs, pain having to drive when I don't need to, will have to think of something constructive to do in city to make up for the drive.

We have night storage heating Red, so it heats up when electricity is cheap in the night then hot bricks keep it warm all day, the frustrating thing is if you turn them off they take at least 24 hours to provide any heat again once you switch them back on!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
