Well done on the weight loss! Are you doing any exercise? That's the bit I find hard - never have the time!

No Ciarlilerin, exercise is most definately my challenge! It is not that I don't have time, I am lazy and would prefer to wash windows than exercise (I have very dirty windows!!!!) However, I know to get to the weight I see myself at, I need to engage in some activity, my preference is swimming and I have told myself I must start that in October so watch this space.


I am delighted to report no chqs were presented for clearing this morning and so we are cool! We were a few pennies short and I worked very hard not to panic and just tried to manage it best I could, which I have and now on Monday we will be fine!

Life is good!

It's Friday and I have an extremely busy day ahead but I will have cleared a major problem by the end of today and that makes me smile.

I asked Mr Halifax to return what he had charged on my cc to me, he said no.

I asked Mr Halifax again and suggested I was going to keep asking him, he sent me a letter saying

'Dear Mrs RMC, we are going to credit your account with £125 because the universe said it was the right thing to do'

I would gladly be a guest at your dinner party - and I wouldn't go through your drawers either :rotfl:

I need to ask the universe for many things..............but No 1 is peace of mind! In the mean time I will add a breadmaker to my list, ta for reminding me.

Spent the afternoon with a challenging young man who made me work for my pennies BUT at the end of our time together he said 'thank you for everything you did for me today' and that ladies and gents brought a tear to my eye (softie that I am!)
