Forgot to mention - the compressor for the pie machine died! So thats another I have to find and DH has advised that apples need to be purchased next week - another £500 (because we are busier we need them every 2nd week now it seems, used to be every 3rd, so I could budget £500 monthly most months) which I haven't got and of course no big cheques expects - Pania take note, this is the not so good side of being SE - always bills and little money!

The blinking accounts are doing my head in - somehow we have accumulated over £1k and I have no idea from where. Needless to say we dont have it - its just showing up on bank statement from various points in the year. It obviously is payments from someone, but I will be damned if I can find them and of course there are no lodgement slips for any of them - gggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrr. This is why it is so labourious because I have to go through everything trying to find the amounts - did manage to find some but there are still loads o/s.

Vacuuming of stairs currently being undertaken by my special soldier! Bless!

Good for him, I support the Dubs too - but for some reason everyone wants them beaten - now if it were Tyrone that would be a different story :p

I don't hate the Dubs, I just like how it's the one unifying factor for the supporters of every other team! ;)

As for that 'spare' grand, oooooooh, I would be sooooooo tempted to do something with it, but that's probably not a good idea until you know what it was intended for in the first place.

Did OH run to making the tea as well as hoovering? ;)

You should not feel guilty about him doing he fair share of housework. Get him to empty it if poss. ;)

Reddie, I'm a bit dim and just starting to twig that your main job is not pie making. Is that correct?

And as for where I was born, the answer is no: I'm the daughter of Irish people born in Manchester. However, some traits travel...;)
