Yeah remember I said I was going to change the world when I was off.............................well at least the bedrooms are cleared (to the eye anyway) and only one other major site of chaos to go - the dreaded cupboard under the stairs and then we are done with the major clearout of junk!
Now, after 5 years, most things have a place. Dont get me wrong, we could still fill a skip with DH's hoarding but it is now so much more manageable and I can now locate most things in the house!
Outside we need to decant two sheds into one but thats not a major job as I emptied the crap out of one last year (and he still hasn't noticed)
So ebay heaven tomorrow! Such joy!
Going to watch recorded celebrity master chef in a while I think!

Funny you should ask about critical illness cover. I have cancelled all but that since we got accepted for our decreasing term assurance. That in itself has saved £100. Not one person I have discussed it with says cancel. And sadly, the perils of such illnesses came to great us here at MSE too, so I think the 'universe' is answering my question for me. The policy stays!
Bless you for reading it all, I should go back and do the same!
It sure doesn't feel like a journey more like a blindfolded trek into the amazon wearing snow boots and carrying an ice pick!
Admiration - nah I don't deserve that, but thanks anyway for vote of confidence.

LMAO - more drivle to send you to sleep!
I could actually write and write and write here. I find it very theraputic but then sometimes I look and see how many people read it and don't 'speak' and it freaks me out!
I don't really talk to anyone in detail about my debt (except my aunt who lurks on here too and my mum but I give her bare bones). My best friend is Martins' proverbial love child and was a MSE before it was even invented. She would be horrified and give me a terrible time if she knew. No-one I know has the same debt issues as us, well I should say - no-one I know has admitted to having debt problems like us.
So here, I get to spill my guts, think out solutions and whinge about how much I hate Ricardo and Absurd&Ludicrous. Here I get to make sure I can cancel dd's online so as to not get more charges and here, quite honestly, I can ensure I don't get sent down for murder and keep my marriage going. DH and I jokingly decided even if we wanted to, we couldn't afford to divorce!
And here I get virtual hugs/warnings and a general sense of not being the only lunatic in the asylum!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.
