I do hope you find it.
Have you phoned the police to see if someone had handed it in?0 -
No but that is a great idea and I will ring them today!
We have a new kitten, DH befriended it after it fell off the back of a farmers lorry, he told DH to take it. We think its probably ferrel so he has spent two weeks with it outside and last night 'Jack' came inside.
A clear example of how our house runs now follows
Me, on way to bed 'where is Jack sleeping because I don't want Billie (our other cat) taking lumps out of her'
DH ' I will make Jack up a bed and put litter tray (which I had just decided to put away since Billie no longer uses it) and food in utility room, Billie can stay in porch as usual'
Me 'Ok, but clear everything from utility room, (laundry waiting to be ironed, laundry basket, ebay box and some bakery stuff) because Jack could pee anywhere!'
DH 'Yeah you are right'
Came down this morning, laundry on kitchen table! Opened utility room door, Jack sleeping in LAUNDRY BASKET and all the other stuff there!!!!!!!
DH still sleeping!

So he woke up, I 'nagged'; same old, same old!
Busy day of clearing, chucking, moving carp around and now having a little drinkipoohs!
DH won £14.50 on the euromillions and so we are having chinese food as a treat!
I washed a throw from Laura Ashley which was labelled 'dry clean only' - it is apparently 100% viscose (felt like wool to me) and there is a zillions bits of fluff coming off it.
I have also washed every cushion cover I own and will decide tonight which will go on ebay (Pre MSE I had a cushion fetish!)
Tomorrow I am ebaying my life away. One of the good things I achieved today was to finally have the ebay pile sorted so now its in three piles and I will just keep going til its gone. Whatever doesn't sell after one relisting is going to the charity shop.............and this time I MEAN IT

Yes, I have put on a DVD as there is nothing worth watching on the telly......people may knock BGT and X factor etc, but they are certainly ideal Saturday evening easy watching!!!
I have decided to charity shop almost everything that I have been saving for a car boot sale - someone else will get the benefit of it at the end of the day, which is better than it going to the tip, and with the students being here for the rest of the summer hols I really really don't see when I am going to get a car boot done.
So, hopefully there will be an abundance of charity bags coming through the door next week......or else I will just keep loading up the car and delivering to local charity shops in my week off workSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Yeap they are total veg tv and you can watch them with adults and children alike - reminds me of growing up and watching the Generation Game and the Two Ronnies as a family on Sat night
DH has been having a car boot sale since we moved here and never made it to one. So much had to be dumped because mices got to it in the garage or it got damp or such like...................I already have two suitcases full of stuff for charity shop and they can keep the cases too! There are two of us and we had 7 suitcases!
I was so pleased to get rid of alot of my uni stuff last week - pointless keep undergraduate stuff, the law and research change so quickley that in 3 years its mostly well out of date.

I have just taken the charity bags out of the carboot to try and sell on Ebay  WHAT am I thinking???
They may well find their way back to the car boot if I don't photograph and list them tonight - it is free "insertion fees" this weekend. Is that the same as free listing?0 -
no idea on the free listing thing on ebay - but def  to taking the bags out of the boot of the car :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
