    Good Evening

Another update from the Bank that likes to do whatever the F**k it likes - Absurd & Ludicrous

If you transfer £300 from your account it leaves that second and arrives the next second (faster payments). You can only complete one faster payment a day.

If you transfer more than £300 it takes 3 or 4 days to arrive at choosen destination. It, of course, also leaves your account that second! (And I wonder who gets the interest on that!)

A&L have the most bizzare system I have ever observed. It is now a serious aim (even before CC) to get o/d down to First Direct level so I can switch! I think they have become my new Ricardo!

!!!!!!??? I am with them, I have two accounts and move money between the accounts, it leaves one second later and arrives days later - even they can't explain to me where my money is - I know where it is - earning interest somewhere for them!

May enquire with FD about their overdraft levels and move - they just annoy me!
    1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
    2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!
    08/06/09 - [STRIKE]£11,497.68[/STRIKE] NOW - £9,757.75

More items listed on ebay but sadly just the one sale - but here's hoping the weekend is better!

    I am knackered.

Oh Absurd & Ludicrous have also decided to remove dd amounts from the list of dd's. Also they were showing what dd's were due the next day - giving chicks like me a chance - but obviously too many customers found that helpful so its gonners!

Absurd and Ludicrous-like it. I'm with them too, don't you find that message you get about their security software everytime you log onto online banking irritating as hell? Are they not aware that those boxes usually come with a 'don't ask me this question again' tickbox? Oh and re faster payments it might be an idea to have some sort of text in a box when you are filling out the details to explain that anything over £200 will not be treated as a faster payment (considering they're the only bank with such a low threashold), but will be transferred like a regular bacs payment and will take 3 working days. That information would have been very handy a couple of months back when i couldn't figure out why my payment hadn't turned up in my other bank account, and ended running round like one of those flies in my lunchbreak to transfer extra money by hand so that I didn't have a default on my loan. Don't trust them as far as I could throw them.

Anyway sorry to rant on your diary. Hope you have a super friday, and the Ricardo bashing is going well.

    xx

Hey Red, your bank sounds completely backwards! I use Natwest and can transfer as many faster payments as I like and for any amount.

I have found them fine so far, but that's only because I don't owe them any money so they don't have any hold over me!

    Have a happy Friday x

Not a rant, a passing of factual information!!!!!!!!!! Why would they give you information when making payments, that would be profficent customer service!;)

They are truely ridiculous - and in future I will use switch online to transfer any money over the minimal faster payments amount!

WooWoo - My sister banks with NatWest and the only problem she has is that there is no branch here.

And there is always a benefit of owing them nothing, most banks are nicer then LOL

    Happy Friday!

    Ta Ta

I am going to a party this evening with 15 hyper teenagers who are having an old fashioned kids party this evening - jelly & ice cream and a bouncy castle! Will be exhausting but I love to see them behave like carefree little ones!

I am a countdown to two weeks off - only another week to go. Good Times!
