    fairways lodge and leisureclub is a nice clean budget hotel, im a manchester native but have stayed there in May this year and the rooms were clean and comfortable in nice surroundings. was about £45 a night for a double i think. Costs about £5 to get into Manchester by taxi but is right on the main route so you could get a bus,

    Hi again - I'm sure we didn't pay THAT much! Is it worth checking out the offers on their website? Oh dear not really Money Saving then?

    Just double checked again. Looked at late rooms too and they have Sachas listed at £88 !!!

    There must be something going on that weekend !!! I have never known hotels in Manchester be so expensive !!!
