I want to take a hairdryer, radio and DVD's on holiday. Should I put them in mycabin baggage or in the hold?

If you are planning on having a shower in flight you may want to take your hairdrier in your cabinbaggage - otherwise put it in the hold.
Radio won't work in the air, so pack that in the hold too.
DVDs only if you are planning on watching them in flight on a portable DVD player.
Assuming you've got a solid case they'll all be safe in the hold!Legal team on standby0 -
I take everything of value, like laptops, video camera etc in the cabin with me and everything not of significant value in the hold. The Summer Holiday of a Lifetime0

Also if you are flying with an airline with limited checked luggage weight, put everything heavy into your hand luggage up to the limit. This leaves more weight for clothes etc which I suspect you'll need if you are taking a hair drier on holiday.I take everything of value, like laptops, video camera etc in the cabin with me and everything not of significant value in the hold.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
