Emergency over!

I realised today that my mobile contract is up for renewal. I got a deal from my mobile provider which included a free phone. Something called a HTC HD2 phone. I will get it tomorrow and its going straight onto ebay! Thats the council tax sorted!!

I hate new phones anyway. I always sell my upgrade phones on ebay. I have been using my Nokia 6230i for about 4 years now. It's been in water, left in the car overnight in freezing temperatures, fallen down the steps countless number of times but never had a problem with it. I did try out a Nokia N95 out for a bit. I had to replace the screen three times, it was so flimsy. That went on ebay too!

...and yes Soolin they are ex chart novels. I will see if the local book exchange will buy them. If not then probably donate them to a good cause.

I also recommend Greenmetropolis.com; for shifting more books, you can offer discounts and/or a 3 for 2 deal on your inventory.

Never sold anything on there!! I have books listed and 2 for 3 discount but still nothing!

2 for 3? There's your problem.

Might try that on ebay though, buy 2 £10 items from us only pay £30

Greenmetropolis is very slow but there are some sales there. I only have about 120 books listed and can usually sell one every 6 weeks or so which is more than some other sites that claim to be giving ebay a run for their money.

I've sold 5 books on Greenmetropolis this week, but have had some very quiet periods. I have, I think 156 books still listed there at the moment. I offer discounts on many books as well as 3 for 2.

Hi,
Has anyone used Fatbrain.co.uk to sell thier books? The site is on Twitter but I can only find comments from people who have bought from them.
My concern, and maybe I just being overly suspicious, is they state that they pay the postage for you to send them your books, having first recieved a quote (same as used mobile sites where they quote a price) but if they decide that a book/books are not of merchantable quality they just discard them, they are not returned to you:(
I know I could just try them out and see what happens but hate the idea of being turned over:mad:

There was another thread somewhere about fatbrain, on that it didn't seem that anyone had a book that fatbrain were prepared to buy.

If yours are wanted by them then it must be worth a try.
